F8 Not Working? How To Enter Safe Mode In Windows Vista And 7 Via Boot Options

How to enter Windows safe mode? There seems to be a bug or hardware issues where some users are not able to enter safe mode via the F8 button.
For your information, booting into Windows Safe Mode requires repeatedly pressing of the F8 key before the Windows logo appears. If Windows fail to boot up into safe mode via F8, you might want to try this other option:

Type ‘msconfig’ into the search box, click on the link as shown in step 2

Select the ‘Boot’ tab, check the ‘Safe Mode’ check box, save or apply the new settings.
When you click ‘ok’, the Restart Now button will appear and if/when you restart your computer, it will enter the Safe Mode.
