How To Flush DNS Cache For Windows And Mac

Flush DNS For Windows XP, Vista and 7

For Windows XP, Vista and 7, type ‘cmd’ into the search box and then ‘ipconfig /flushdns’ into the command prompt. Flushing your DNS cache in Windows is really easy

For Apple Mac OSX, launch the ‘terminal’ program to clear cache DNS.
Mac OSX 10.4 and below:
lookupd -flushcache
Mac OSX 10.5 and above:
dscacheutil -flushcache

Flush DNS For Linux Ubuntu

Depending on which Linux OS you’re using, based on my limited knowledge, the Linux Ubuntu I am using does not cache DNS by default. Restarting the network router might be a better idea.
